The idea of dancing – human movement – being plagiarized is ridiculous! It’s absolutely not the same as writing plagiarism at all. It’s movement! You can’t “steal” or “plagiarize” or “patent” it. Also, by this standard jazz, swing, flamenco, and tango would all be prohibited to the general public as “plagiarism” and would never become so widespread in respective time periods and/or places
