Last week began the voting on the best supply or contract management tactic submitted in response to the Top 100 Supply Management Tips of All Time! contest. Author of the winning tip will win a free pass to Aberdeen Group’s CPO Summit Conference in Boston this November.
I encourage Supply Excellence readers to rate each tip. (Who knows, you may find a trick or two you can use to improve your own supply and contract management performance.)
Today’s tip:
- Research your suppliers: It’s always good business to know about new suppliers before they walk in your door. Find out about them using the web, social networking sites, and more traditional sources like D&B. You can guarantee, they have done their homework on you.
